Lawrence Dallaglio

Lawrence Dallaglio OBE has won virtually every accolade available in the game of Rugby. He has captained England and he is one of a very elite group of players who have won world cup medals for both the 15 and 7 man game.

Lawrence was a Wasps player for all his Club career and was their Captain for 13 years, winning the Tetley's Cup in 2000 as well as two famous European Cup victories in 2004 and 2007 before retiring in May 2008.

Lawrence was awarded an OBE in the 2008 Queen’s Birthday Honours List, and as well as being a Wasps, England and British & Irish Lions hero, he is an icon and figurehead of world rugby.

The Story

Lawrence Dallaglio and his father, Vincenzo, had been scouring Italy to find someone who could help them make a top-class range of their favourite family Italian recipes and pasta sauces. This quest along the length and breadth of the country finally brought them back to their home ground, Piemonte.

Home also to Sacla’, a family business who are famous for making premium quality pasta sauces. When the families got their heads together, magic happened in a jar. Shoulder to shoulder, they’ve created a new range of fantastic sauces that are nutritious, delicious and, perhaps best of all, dead easy to prepare.
